Nicole Scherzinger has shared her plans to have two weddings to her fiancé Thom Evans — one in her home state of Hawaii, and one in Europe. The couple, who met while filming The X Factor: Celebrity, got engaged in June of this year.

Nicole Scherzinger Is Planning Two Weddings

In a recent interview with the Sunday Times Culture (via Daily Mail), Scherzinger shared that she plans to have the wedding ceremony in Hawaii, officiated by her grandfather. The Pussycat Dolls star was born in Honolulu.

“The reception will be somewhere in Europe,” Scherzinger added of the second part of the festivities. “Beyond that I haven’t even thought about anything.”

The singer also shared that she and Evans (who is Scottish) will be based in Britain during their marriage, adding, “We travel a lot, and I like that.” Scherzinger is currently in the UK performing in a West End production of Sunset Boulevard.

The show is Scherzinger’s main focus at the moment, as she explained, “Yo, I gotta find Norma Desmond. Until I find her, and I open this show, and I am proud of it, I’m not thinking of anything else.”

The Couple Got Engaged in June

Scherzinger met Evans, a former rugby player, when she was a judge on The X Factor: Celebrity in 2019. Evans was competing on the show as a part of the group Try Star. The group finished in fifth place.

The couple made their red carpet debut in January 2020. In June, they announced their engagement, sharing photos from Evans’ romantic proposal to Scherzinger on the beach. Neither of them have ever been married before.

Currently, Scherzinger can be seen on Season 10 of The Masked Singer, Wednesdays on FOX. Unfortunately, she’ll have to miss Season 11 due to scheduling conflicts with Sunset Boulevard. Rita Ora is stepping in to join the panel in her place.
